Frequently asked questions

What is BaZi (Four Pillars, Saju)?

BaZi, also called the Four Pillars of Destiny or Saju in Korea, is a traditional East Asian way of reading a person from the year, month, day and hour of birth. Each of the four pillars is a pair of characters. Together they describe the balance of the Five Elements in your chart, your ten-year Luck Pillars and the years ahead. Your reading explains all of this in plain English.

What do I receive and in what format?

A personal PDF written for one person: your Four Pillars chart, your ten-year Luck Pillars and a year-by-year look at the years ahead (2026–2032), in 13 chapters. It is delivered by email with a download link that works for 14 days.

How long does it take?

We email your reading within 24 hours of receiving your complete birth details. If we need to confirm something (for example an unclear birth place), we will email you, and the 24 hours start once we have your answer.

What if I do not know my birth time?

Leave it blank at checkout. You will receive the three-pillar edition: your year, month and day pillars, all Luck Pillars and every year ahead. The hour pillar cannot be fixed honestly without a birth time.

What if my birth time is approximate?

Give your best estimate as a clock time (for example 15:00). Times on the hour or half hour are often rounded, so we read the birth as possibly up to half an hour either side, and your book shows what would change if the hour pillar were different.

Why might my hour pillar differ from another website?

We calculate the hour pillar from local solar time, adjusted for your birthplace’s longitude. Some websites use clock time as it is, so their hour pillar can differ. Your book explains the difference where it matters.

Which place of birth should I enter?

Your country, state or province, and the nearest city or town. If you were born in a small district, use the larger city nearby (for example Seoul rather than a district of Seoul).

How is the reading made?

Your chart is calculated by software using a traditional Korean Saju method. The text is written with the help of AI language models, and every reading goes through automated checks and a separate review before it is sent.

Is this a prediction of my future?

No. It is a reading for personal reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, legal or financial advice, and it does not predict outcomes with certainty.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are not available for change of mind once your reading has been delivered, because each reading is created for one person. If we cannot read your birth details or cannot prepare your reading, we will refund you in full. If something is wrong with your reading, contact us within 7 days and we will make it right or refund you. See Terms & refunds.

What do you do with my birth details?

We use them only to prepare and deliver your reading and to support you. We delete your order details about 90 days after delivery. See Privacy.
