What’s your Day Master?
In BaZi, your Day Master is the heavenly stem of the day you were born: one of ten, from Yang Wood to Yin Water. It is the “you” at the centre of your chart, and every other part of the chart is read in relation to it.
Your nature
These two passages come from the Day Master section of The Four Pillars of You.
Your Day Master is one of eight characters
Your full chart has four pillars: year, month, day and hour. How the other seven characters support or challenge your Day Master shapes your work, money, relationships and the years ahead. Your reading covers all of it: your four pillars, your ten-year Luck Pillars, and a year-by-year look at 2026–2032, in plain English.

The ten Day Masters
Day Master is calculated from your birth date with the traditional sixty-day cycle. In our method a new day begins at 11 pm local solar time, so a birth between about 10 pm and 1 am can belong to the next or previous day; your full reading settles this with your birthplace. Readings are for personal reflection and entertainment.
